## What is Basket Basket won the [JustSparkIdeas](https://x.com/JustSparkIdeas) hackathon, where the community awarded me a $3,000 investment through a decision market. This raise is the next step: taking that validation on-chain and shipping Basket to Solana. Basket turns a whole thematic portfolio into a single SPL token. Instead of buying and managing 7 tokens by hand, you mint one share and hold the entire basket: AI compute, DePIN, LSTs, bluechips, RWAs, and more. Redemption is atomic, so you burn the share and get the underlying components back anytime. I built two curation models. Fixed-weight baskets let curators pin value targets, and the chain restores them on drift within tolerance bands, giving set-and-forget exposure. Dynamic-weight baskets let curators pin units while weights float with the market, so there is no rebalancing and you get pure market-cap tracking. ## Why it matters Index products are the default on-ramp in every mature market. On Solana, retail still hand-assembles narrative baskets one swap at a time, which is slow, expensive, and impossible to rebalance cleanly. I built Basket to make thematic exposure a one-click primitive, with transparent on-chain composition and curator-set strategies. ## Market & Differentiation The market is Solana users who want narrative or thematic exposure without managing a dozen positions, the same demand that made ETFs and DeFi index tokens dominant elsewhere. My edge is a native SPL wrapper that composes everywhere Solana tokens go, atomic mint and redeem, and a dual fixed and dynamic weighting engine that most index products do not offer. My go-to-market runs on curated flagship baskets per narrative at a low average fee, distributed through the Spark ecosystem and partner curators. ## Use of Funds Lean by design. The raise funds a $1,000 per month operating allowance covering my salary and the tooling and infrastructure I need to run the baskets: AI tools, RPC and hosting, and the services required to keep them live on-chain. My goal is a long runway on a small, disciplined budget, enough to ship and grow without overcommitting backer capital. ## Roadmap & Milestones I will ship the product within one month. That means a public release of Basket on Solana mainnet with mint and redeem live and the first curated flagship baskets available. After launch, I shift focus entirely to growing TVL through distribution: onboarding curators, expanding the basket catalog per narrative.
